Hyderabad: B Sai Praneeth attached his first Super Series title when he beat his comrade Kidambi Srikanth 17-21, 21-17, 21-12 in the last of the Singapore Open competition in Singapore on Sunday. The 24-year-old Praneeth, who had a 4-1 record against Srikanth, lost the primary amusement.
In the second amusement, Praneeth was down 1-6 preceding he organized a superb rebound. He grabbed the activity from Srikanth with cunning amusement and went to rule the second diversion. The 24-year-old Praneeth was in complete control against Srikanth to easily get through the third diversion.
Praneeth consequently turned into the fourth Indian after Saina Nehwal, Srikanth and PV Sindhu to win a Super Series title. He, obviously, turned into the second in men’s area after Srikanth to secure a Super Series title.
Mentor Pullela Gopichand was elated with the Indian show at the Singapore Open. “It is a triumph for Indian badminton. I think Praneeth played a smart diversion in the last,” he said.
